Even since Farah Khan has announced the remake of Satte Pe Satta, it has become our favorite real-life thriller. The casting of this film is turning out to be quite a complicated story with new names popping up every day. Honestly, we have seen proper feature-length thrillers with a much simpler storylines.

We have no clue if the stars are being picky or it is Farah Khan herself who is not being able to make up her mind or is it just one those crazy Bollywood antics, but we are really looking forward to the final casting of the film. Here are the names of the Bollywood actors who have been in the running for the Satte Pe Satta remake.

Anushka Sharma

As per the latest reports, Anushka Sharma is also being considered for the role that was nailed by Hema Malini in the original. The actress has been taking a break for a while now and has not announced her next project ever since the release of Zero in December 2019. Maybe, this will be the final casting choice of Farah and we will get to witness her next in this film.

Hrithik Roshan

There was a very strong buzz that Hrithik Roshan has been signed on to play the double role which was essayed by Amitabh Bachchan in the 1981 hit. However, Hrithik has refuted the rumors of getting on board with the project leaving us completely clueless.

Deepika Padukone

Before Anushka Sharma’s name popped up, we were almost sure that Deepika would be playing the role of Indu. Of course, our joys knew no bounds thinking that finally Deepika and Hrithik would be paired opposite each other in a film, but looks like that dream will take some time to come true as Deepika has reportedly refused to do the project.

Katrina Kaif

Before all this confusion started Katrina Kaif seemed to be the one of the only choice of Farah Khan for the role. But since then too much has happened and we are struggling to keep a track really, but what is important to know here is the fact that Katrina Kaif will probably not be starring as the female in the remake of Satte Pe Satta.

Shah Rukh Khan

This is one is a double-whammy. Satte Pe Satta was being touted as one of the million films with which Shah Rukh Khan’s name has been associated ever since the release and the subsequent failure of Zero. While Shah Rukh is being completely tight-lipped about his next project, there was a good chance that it could be Satte Pe Satta which would have brought him and Farah Khan together after Happy New Year in 2014. Well, we still are not sure if Shah Rukh would be a part of the film or not but one can hope, right?
