Satte Pe Satta Remake Shelved Because No Superstar Said Yes? Here’s What We Know

Well according to the latest report shared by Bollywood Hungama, Satte Pe Satta remake has been shelved and the reason will leave you shocked! Filmmaker Farah Khan had to take this decision because no superstar was ready to feature in the remake of the Amitabh Bachchan starrer. That’s right! She first took the film to Hrithik Roshan, who didn’t give a definite answer but reportedly made her wait for months before opting out. Next in line were Bollywood’s Khiladi Akshay Kumar and Baadshah Shah Rukh Khan, who also declined the offer.

Another obstacle in Farah’s way is new-age copyright rules. A source was quoted saying, “Back in 1982 Raj Sippy made an unofficial remake of Stanley Donen’s Seven Brides For Seven Brothers. But now with the copyright rules being so rigid it would be difficult do Satte Pe Satta without the relevant legal permission.” Well, this news will surely break many hearts!
