Shabaash Mithu: Taapsee Pannu To Begin Training With Mithali Raj Before Film Goes On Floors In April

The talented and very versatile Taapsee Pannu has her plate full for the coming year. She has been busy with back to back shoots for her upcoming projects and is all set to mesmerize fans by portraying different characters on the big screen. The beauty, who was last seen in Anubhav Sinha’s critically acclaimed Thappad, recently wrapped up the shoot of sports drama Rashmi Rocket. Taapsee is now busy with the filming of Looop Lapeta, an official remake of the 1998 German film Run Lola Run, with co-star Tahir Raj Bhasin.

Well, the latest report shared by Pinkvilla suggests that the actress will kick-start the shoot of cricketer Mithali Raj’s biopic Shabaash Mithu in April. A source was quoted saying, “Taapsee will start shooting for Shabaash Mithu from the first week of April in Mumbai. She is presently busy with Loop Lapeta, but practises for the game after the shoot depending on her schedule. Her cricket trainers too are in Goa with Taapsee to help her with the game. She will wrap up the filming for Loop Lapeta in the next 10 to 12 days, after which the actress will start investing more hours for her cricket training which is expected to go on for a month.”

The source further revealed that Taapsee will begin training with Mithali herself a few days before she starts shooting for the film. Other than Shabaash Mithu, Rashmi Rocket and Looop Lapeta, Taapsee has many other exciting scripts in her kitty including Haseen Dillruba opposite Vikrant Massey, Jana Gana Mana and Vijay Sethupathi’s next.
