Shabaash Mithu: Taapsee Pannu's Film On Mithali Raj To Be Shot In England, Producer Says Location Hunting Is A Challenge

Taapsee Pannu is immersed in work. The actress has signed a handful of films, all of which would be shot within a few days. Taapsee will also be a part of another biopic this time and will portray Mithali Raj on the big screen. Yes, we are talking about Shabaash Mithu.

But it looks like it will take time for the film to resume shoot and the biggest problem is the location. Talking to Mid Day, the producer of the film, Ajit Andhare, revealed that major parts of the film would be shot in London and the coronavirus pandemic has posed a serious problem. He said, "We have to figure out when it will be possible to shoot in the UK. At the moment, we are zeroing in on the venues while mapping the dates to suit all parties involved. Location hunting has been quite a challenge as recce is out of the question and we have to rely on pictures to determine if a venue is suitable for shooting. As a producer, I am jittery taking a call on something that we haven't seen."

He also revealed that the pre-production work had been progressing even through the lockdown and director Rahul Dholakia is "polishing the screenplay, and the music is being composed." The casting is all in process.
