Shah Rukh Khan Jumps To Save Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s Manager From Fire, Sustain Injuries

The Diwali party at Bachchan was quite the landmark event this year with everyone from Bollywood in attendance. While the party was a great success, it ended on a rather scary note while but thanks to Shah Rukh Khan who stepped up to the occasion and to save Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s manager Archana Sadanand from a fatal accident.

A source who was inside the party informed the news outlets about the incident. The source said, “It was just after 3 am and a few guests were still around. Archana was with her daughter in the courtyard when her lehenga caught fire. Those around were stunned and didn't know what to do. Shah Rukh had the presence of mind, rushed to Archana, and put out the fire. He, too, sustained minor burns while dousing the flames with a jacket. His only thought was to put out the fire.”

Both Archana and Shah Rukh were then rushed to Nanavati Hospital in the wee hours of Monday, where Shah Rukh’s small injuries were treated immediately while Archana is still recuperating from her injuries.

Archana Sadanand has been Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s manager for over 10 years now and is like a family for the Bachchans.
