According to a source in Bollywood Hungama, Shah Rukh Khan, who was excited and all praises about working with the Tanu Weds Manu director Anand L. Rai before Zero, has now stopped taking any of his phone calls. That’s not all, Shah Rukh apparently also blames Anand for the failure of Zero. The source was quoted saying, “Shah Rukh blames Rai entirely for the fiasco that was Zero. What was Aanand Rai thinking? This is what Shah Rukh now wonders, like everybody else.”

The disappointment of the actor was expected as he went out of his way to experiment with Zero where he played a vertically challenged man. Shah Rukh opened up his future projects after Zero at the Beijing Film Festival in China and said, "I haven't decided what I will do next. I thought I will take a few months off and try and work on what I want to do because it's very important for me to be most excited about it. I work 16 hours a day, so if it doesn't excite you in the morning, you should not wake up."

The actor has now put all future projects on halt for the time being and has also ended his creative partnership with Anand L. Rai which was supposed to go on after Zero as well.
