Shah Rukh Khan, Shahid Kapoor, Anushka Sharma Keep The Suspense On For Their Next

There are certain actors who we love to see on screen. These are the stars and the superstars who are an integral part of Bollywood and hence when there is a long wait between their two films, it leads to nothing less than a heartbreak. Let's check out some such actors who are yet to announce their next.

Shah Rukh Khan (last release: Zero)

Shah Rukh Khan has pretty much declared that he is not in mood to pick a film soon enough. Apparently after Zero, he has taken a sabbatical of sorts and wants to sort out things before he is ready to take the plunge all over again. While audiences would indeed love to see him in an exciting film all over again, one just hopes that Shah Rukh makes up his mind soon enough.

Shahid Kapoor (last release: Kabir Singh)

His Kabir Singh is an All Time Blockbuster but Shahid Kapoor is yet to sign his next. Now that's disheartening because audiences can't wait to catch him in action soon enough. Even if he were to sign a new film in quick time, one can't expect the release to happen before Summer 2020. Now that's going to be a long wait for the star who has finally got his due in Bollywood.

Jacqueline Fernandez (last release: Race 3)

There was a time when Jacqueline Fernandez was doing quite a few films and an annual release was a must. However, after Race 3, she hasn't signed any new Bollywood film. One wonders why she has slowed down because as an actress she brings in just the right kind of glamour quotient as well that Bollywood mandates. Hope she picks up something exciting soon enough.

Sonam Kapoor (last release: Ek Ladki Ko Dekha To Aisa Laga)

She was delivering quite a few back to back successes in Bollywood before Ek Ladki Ko Dekha To Aisa Laga happened. While that was an aberration, she would soon be seen in The Zoya Factor. However, Sonam Kapoor hasn't signed any new film and it appears that she wants to fully enjoy her marital bliss before she gets back to the grind of camera, sets and locations.

Priyanka Chopra (last release: Jai Gangaajal)

When it comes to Bollywood, Priyanka Chopra was last seen in Prakash Jha's Jai Gangaajal. She would be returning with The Sky Is Pink though one wonders how Bollywood-ish even that would be. While letting go of Bharat doesn't seem a bad decision after all, surprisingly she hasn't picked on anything else either in Bollywood. One wonders why as she is needed for sure.

Abhishek Bachchan (last release: Manmarziyaan)

Abhishek Bachchan took a break before he decided to step into the world of Anurag Kashyap romance in Manmarziyaan. The film didn't do well theatrically, though the actor was appreciated for his performance. He hasn't signed on the dotted line for any new Bollywood venture, though he has wrapped up the web series Breathe 2 where he would be seen in an interesting role.

Anushka Sharma (last release: Zero)

2018 was quite busy for Anushka Sharma as she was seen in Pari, Sanju, Sui Dhaaga - Made In India and Zero. However, it has been total silence on her part ever since then as she hasn't picked any new film. She is one of the few reliable actresses around and it is indeed Bollywood's loss that she wouldn't be seen for at least a while on the big screen. Come back, Anushka!

Anupam Kher (last release: One Day - Justice Delivered)

There are certain character actors who are quite prolific on the big screen till date and Anupam Kher tops the list. In fact very recently he was also seen as the central protagonist in One Day - Justice Delivered. However, the veteran of 500 plus films hasn't signed anything new in Bollywood and has instead headed to New York for shooting Season 2 of New Amsterdam.

Boman Irani (last release: PM Narendra Modi)

Last seen in PM Narendra Modi, Boman Irani has a couple of more films coming up in the form of Made In China and Housefull 4. However, he is yet another character actor who has kept signing of new films on hold at least for now. One hopes that the announcement of Don 3 or Munnabhai 3 happens soon because he is an integral part of both the franchises.

Imran Khan (last release: Katti Batti)

One good film and he could well be back in the reckoning. It seems ages since Imran Khan was seen on the big screen [Katti Batti] but one can't deny the fact that the actor indeed has talent. It seems as if Imran's sabbatical has turned out to be longer than one could have bargained for and he would need some sort of a push before he can make a true blue comeback.
