Shah Rukh Khan Signs Film With Malayalam Director Aashiq Abu, To Go On Floors In 2020!

Are you one of those who had been consistently asking what Shah Rukh Khan would be doing next? After the debacle of Zero, King Khan had been on a break and had, for the first time, not been sure of what he would be doing next. While there had been speculations that he might be signing films, he did not give a nod to any! But finally that phase is over and well, SRK has already signed the second film this year.

Yes, you read that right. Shah Rukh Khan has signed yet another film. After confirming that he will be working with Raaj and DK for a film, it is now being said that he has signed another film with Malayalam director Aashiq Abu. Indian Express has quoted a source and said, “Director Aashiq Abu met Shah Rukh Khan at Mannat today and signed a film with him. Syam Pushkaran of Kumbalangi Nights fame will pen the script.”

Aashiq Abu has earlier directed films like Virus, Mayaanadhi and 22 Female Kottayam. He shared a post with Shah Rukh Khan after their meeting at Mannat and even wrote ‘We Love You’!

Producer Shaneem Zayed, who was also a part of this meeting, wrote “A good two long hour conversation with #SRK with one of most favorite directors and writers @aashiqabu and @syampushkaran that became easily one of the most memorable days of my life I am sure yours too @mrkrrish #shahrukhkhan #kingkhan #aashiqabu #syampushkaran #krrish” Check out the post here:
