Shah Rukh Khan To Be A Part Of Poet & Lyricist Sahir Ludhianvi’s Biopic? Here’s What We Know

Shah Rukh Khan, the king of hearts and Bollywood, is currently busy gearing up for his much awaited action thriller Pathan. Directed by Siddharth Anand and produced under YRF banner, the film also stars the gorgeous Deepika Padukone, the handsome John Abraham and the very versatile Dimple Kapadia. It is undoubtedly one of the most talked about projects of 2020 and 2021 as SRK will be returning to the big screen after a span of almost 3 long years. Well, latest reports suggest that the superstar has bagged another exciting project.

A report shared by ETimes has revealed that Sahir Ludhianvi’s biopic has landed at Shah Rukh’s Red Chillies Entertainment office. Written by Jasmeet Reen, the poet and lyricist’s story was going to be produced by Ashi Dua initially. However, it was later reported that Sanjay Leela Bhansali will be helming it with either Abhishek Bachchan or late superstar Irrfan Khan in the lead. While it is being said that Red Chillies Entertainment will be backing the project now, it is not clear if SRK will be portraying the role of the legendary Ludhianvi or not.

Well, after Shah Rukh’s self-imposed sabbatical from acting, fans are eagerly waiting to see him shine on the big screen again and wouldn’t mind watching him in back to back films!
