Shah Rukh Khan To Play Double Role In Atlee’s Upcoming Action Film; Here Are The Details Of His Characters

Bollywood’s Baadshah Shah Rukh Khan was last seen on the big screen in Aanand L. Rai’s 2018 romantic comedy drama Zero, alongside Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma. It’s been almost two years and fans have eagerly been waiting for the superstar to announce his next project. While buzz suggests that he has a few scripts in his kitty, the audience is still waiting for juicy details. Well we have some exciting news! According to latest reports, SRK will be playing a double role in filmmaker Atlee’s next.

In a report shared by Mumbai Mirror, a source revealed, “Atlee and Shah Rukh have been discussing a potential collaboration for two years now and have brainstormed on multiple subjects. They have finally fixed on an action film, which has SRK playing an investigating officer of a top Indian agency and a most-wanted criminal. The story revolves around these two characters who are worlds apart, their conflict and confrontation.” The filmmaker is reportedly working on the script with Karan Johar’s team of writers.

Shah Rukh will soon begin shooting for War director Siddharth Anand’s big budget action entertainer, tentatively titled Pathan, with actor John Abraham as the antagonist. After completing Pathan, the superstar will move on to Rajkumar Hirani's social comedy and Atlee’s film. Much to our delight, he is also in talks with Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK for their action thriller. We missed seeing SRK on the silver screen but are glad to hear about so many of his upcoming projects!
