Shah Rukh Khan's Upcoming Film With Rajkumar Hirani To Have A Different Ending Now?

The time for Shah Rukh Khan fans to rejoice has come. The actor, who had been on a hiatus since 2017, has resumed work for Siddharth Anand's next, Pathan, in Mumbai just a few weeks back. He also has an impressive lineup, including a film by Rajkumar Hirani that would be written by Kanika Dhillon. Now, we are getting to hear that Hirani, and Kanika, are working towards a new ending to the film.

According to a report in Bollywood Hungama, both the director and the writer are busy finding a better ending to the film. A source said, “Rajkumar Hirani and his writing partner, Kanika Dhillon, have been working on the script and after writing down multiple drafts, they felt that the second half isn’t really on par with their expectations. And hence, they have gone back to the drawing board, rewriting the entire second half of the film.”

The source further added, “He(Hirani) takes his own time to lock the script and would take a film on floors only when he is 100% satisfied with what is written on paper. Hirani isn’t someone who would rush on to the things just to finish and release a film, as for him direction is a matter of passion and not just a money minting exercise. The script should hopefully be locked by summer 2021 and only then will he proceed to other aspects of pre-production.”

This just means that fans would have to wait a little longer for the film! Meanwhile, Pathan is expected to hit the theatres on Diwali next year.
