Shahid Kapoor has been riding high on the success of Kabir Singh. Even though the film has received a lot of flak because of its misogynistic content, shahid’s performance was lauded.
Recently the Kabir Singh actor appeared on Neha Dhupia’s chat show where he was asked to pick his favorite director. The choices he was given were Vishal Bharadwaj and Sanjay Leela Bhansali.

Well, the actor chose Vishal Bharadwaj. He said, he thinks they are brilliant in their own spaces but as an actor, he thinks he has been able to achieve more with Vishal Bharadwaj and thinks that he and Vishal have bee able to collaborate more on roles which had more merit but he has great respect for Sanjay Sir.
For the uninitiated, shahid Kapoor has worked with Vishal Bharadwaj in Kaminey, Haider and Rangoon. Shahid Kapoor’s performance was much lauded in all the three films but commercially only Kaminey and Haider were successful. With Sanjay Leela Bhansali Shahid Kapoor worked in Padmavat.
