Shahid Kapoor’s Wife Mira Talks About Life In Lockdown; Reveals The Actor Once Made Pasta With Matar

Superstar Shahid Kapoor and his star wife Mira Rajput are undoubtedly one of the most adored couples of Tinsel Town. They tied the nuptial knot in 2015 and welcomed their beautiful daughter Misha into the world a year later, followed by son Zain in 2018. The happy family is currently staying at their holiday home in Punjab, which is surrounded by farmland. Talking about life in lockdown, Mira recently shared that it’s like living life the old way, with clean air and kids playing in the mud. She is also having a great time cooking fresh vegetables which they grow on the farm.

In a chat with TOI, Mira opened up about their quarantine routine and stated that the day begins with Misha’s online school, or homeschooling on some days. Shahid, who is mostly busy with shoots and upcoming projects, is finally getting lots of free time to spend with his family. They play football, enjoy board games and Shahid is even teaching Misha how to cycle. Zain, too, is learning how to ride his tricycle and the happy family watch a lot of movies together. Mira added, “In the night, once the kids go to bed, Shahid and I get time for ourselves.”

While Mira is having a gala time cooking, she took a break a few days ago and let Shahid try out his cooking skills. She even shared a picture of her meal with the message, “The Husband cooks for the first time in 5 years and this is by far the best pasta I've eaten!!! #nobias.”

Talking about the same, the star wife shared, “Shahid is a stickler for basic ghar ka khaana. Whenever we go out, it is because I am tired of home-cooked food. At the farmhouse, I can see that Shahid has taken an interest in cooking. The other day, I was craving to eat something spicy, so he cooked pasta for me. This is the first time I ate pasta with matar in it (laughs). Who adds green peas in pasta? I must admit that I am better at cooking, so he should do what he is good at — acting.”
