Shanaya Kapoor Will Debut Alongside Lakshya And Gurfateh Pirzada With A Love Triangle Rom Com; Deets Inside

Star kid Shanaya Kapoor, daughter of Sanjay and Maheep Kapoor, began her journey in the Hindi film industry last year as an assistant director with her cousin Janhvi Kapoor’s film Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl. Well, in March this year filmmaker Karan Johar introduced her as the latest addition to his Dharma Cornerstone Agency squad. Ever since then, audiences have been waiting for him to announce her acting debut. According to latest buzz, Shanaya will be making her debut soon alongside newbie Lakshya, who will also be seen in Dostana 2, and Guilty fame Gurfateh Pirzada.

In a report shared by Pinkvilla, a source revealed, “It’s a love triangle in the rom-com space and two other actors in the film will be Lakshya Lalwani and Gurfateh Pirzada. The trio has been attending several acting workshops over the last 6 months as the first idea was to take the film on floors by the month of July.  However, the second wave of pandemic has delayed all the plans and the makers are now awaiting restrictions to be lifted before chalking out a new schedule.”

The report further revealed that the story is set outside India and is being planned as a big 2022 release in theatres. The source continued to add, “If not for the second wave, an official announcement, with the title and director would have been made by now.” The project will reportedly be produced by Karan and Dhadak director Shashank Khaitan.
