Shanaya Kapoor’s debut film titled Dono Mile Iss Tarah; director Shashank Khaitan is ‘pretty pleased’

Back in March this year it was revealed that Shanaya Kapoor is all set to follow in the footsteps of her father Sanjay Kapoor, uncle Anil Kapoor and cousins Sonam, Janhvi and Arjun to make her big Bollywood acting debut. The star kid was introduced by Karan Johar as a new member of his talent agency, called Dharma Cornerstone Agency. It was then reported that her debut film will be a romantic comedy which will follow a love triangle. Well, Shanaya finally began shooting for the same yesterday and her father took to his official social media handle to wish her luck for the same.

The light hearted love triangle will also star Gurfateh Pirzada, who left us in awe of his killer acting chops in Kiara Advani’s Guilty, and Lakshya Lalwani, who is set to make his debut opposite Janhvi Kapoor with Dostana 2. Well, a report shared by Bollywood Hungama has revealed that the film has finally got a title! A source was quoted saying, “The shoot of the film was to start in July this year; however, it was delayed due to the pandemic. As for the title of the film, Dono Mile Iss Tarah has been locked and filming is going ahead with this title. In fact, director Shashank Khaitan seems pretty pleased with the title and is focusing on shooting the venture.”

Sounds cute, doesn’t it? Well, while Dono Mile Iss Tarah will mark Shanaya’s acting debut in Bollywood, her exciting journey in the land of cinema began two years ago with her cousin Janhvi’s film Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl. She was an assistant director on the biographical drama film.
