Shehnaaz Gill’s Father Reveals She Didn’t Wish Him On Diwali; Talks About Her Friendship With Sidharth Shukla

Shehnaaz Gill is undoubtedly one of the most popular and adored celebrities of our country. She won hearts with her charming and bubbly personality in Bigg Boss 13 and went on to wow the audience with her sizzling chemistry with BFF Sidharth Shukla in Bhula Dunga music video. Well she recently flew down to Punjab with Sidharth for another upcoming project. While her fans were over the moon with joy, her father Santokh Singh was furious because she didn’t visit him.

In a chat with ETimes, Santokh revealed that Shehnaaz stopped calling him much after her stint in Mujhse Shaadi Karoge, but she stayed in touch with her mother. He further shared, “She hasn't wished me 'Happy Diwali' yet this year. I always motivated her in every decision she took. I don't have any answer to why she's behaving like this. When I was accused (of rape) Shehnaz of course knew I was not guilty but it was only my son Shehbaz who had come home then.”

When asked about his opinion on Shehnaaz and Sidharth’s friendship, the singer’s father stated that it’s her personal life and he does not want to say anything about it. However, he went on to add, “Na main unke khilaaf hoon, na main unke haque mein hoon. Na hi main iska virodh karta hoon aur na hi main chahta hoon ki yeh dono saath rahen.”
