Sherni: Vidya Balan Starrer To Hit Theatres In Summer? Producer Vikram Malhotra Has This To Say

Vidya Balan's Sherni had been announced quite a long back, but it had run into many roadblocks. Firstly, the shoot was affected after the COVID-19 pandemic broke out and then actor Vijay Raaz got embroiled in a molestation case and makers had been thinking of replacing him. However, he remained a part of the film and now we are getting to hear that the film is all set to release in the Summer of this year.

The news has been confirmed by none other than producer Vikram Malhotra. Talking to Mid Day, he said, “While shooting has been completed, post-production work is on in full swing. We are yet to decide on which platform the film will release, but we are targeting a summer release; perhaps in June or July. So far, we plan to release it in theatres, but we will have to see how things pan out. We want the whole world to see it.”

The film is based on the encroachment of forests and we would want to see the film on the big screens. Vidya Balan would be seen playing a forest officer in the film, which has been shot in the forests of Madhya Pradesh. we are eagerly waiting for this one.
