Shershaah: Kiara Advani reveals why she relates to Vikram Batra’s fiancé Dimple Cheema

While the trailer of Shershaah instilled patriotism in our hearts, the film’s romantic ballads Raataan Lambiyan and Ranjha reminded us of our first love. Starring Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra, the biographical war film not only traces Param Vir Chakra awardee and army captain Vikram Batra’s journey as a soldier, but also gives us a glimpse of the true love shared by him and his fiancé Dimple Cheema. Sidharth and Kiara’s innocent chemistry pleasantly surprised us and left us eagerly waiting for Shershaah’s release.

In a recent chat with Spotboye, when Kiara was asked if she would ever be able to love someone as much as Dimple loved Vikram, the actress replied, “I would definitely aspire to have a love story that would make me feel the same way because I’m sure it must have been so precious for her to have made this choice to let that love go beyond one's lifetime. So in that sense, it’s very aspirational as a love story. And the common thread that I feel, connects me with her is that I truly am as a Leo I am very loyal in love so I feel like that’s one part of my personal life that I would always prioritize. I like the way she did as well so I could totally relate to her.”
