Shershaah: Kiara opens up about working with rumored BF Sidharth Malhotra; calls him one of her closest friends

Rumored couple Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra will be sharing the screen for the very first time in their upcoming film Shershaah. The biopic is special for various reasons, but their pairing is definitely one of the major highlights to look forward to. The actors have already won us over with their adorable and very real chemistry in the film’s romantic tracks Raataan Lambiyan and Ranjha, and we can’t wait to see them together when Shershaah premieres on Amazon Prime Video on 12^th August.

In an interview with ETimes, Kiara opened up about working with Sidharth. She shared, “As a co-star, Sidharth is extremely driven and focused. He loves to prep a lot and do a lot of readings. That’s very similar to the way I like to work on a film. So, in that sense, we got along very well with Vishnu sir and Sandeep sir, the writer. So, there was a lot of readings and prepping and you know, really getting all the nuances of both the people we were playing correct.”

She went on to add, “As a friend, I’d say he is one of my closest friends in the industry. I think, even as a friend, he’s full of life and always fun to be around.” We are sure Kiara and Sidharth’s off-screen bond will result beautifully on-screen as the love shared by their characters Dimple Cheema and Vikram Batra.
