Shilpa Shetty Shows Her Gratitude For Mother Sunanda Shetty, Swara Bhaskar Celebrates Birthday At Home

Just like all of us, our favourite celebs are also locked up at home due to the spread of the novel coronavirus and the pandemic that has ensued. The sadder part is for those who might have their birthdays and anniversaries during this period and are forced to spend it alone without their loved ones. But like many of us, the celebs are also using this time to introspect and look at the positive aspects and many are using technology to virtually connect to their loved ones. Take for example Swara Bhaskar, who celebrated her birthday yesterday and managed to have a rocking birthday party despite the lockdown; or Shilpa Shetty who is expressing her gratitude for people around her.

Shilpa Shetty is using 20 days to post what she is grateful for on each new day. Today, she took to her social media to express her gratitude for her mother and for the fact that her son Viaan has her presence during his formative years. Sharing an adorable video of Viaan with her mother Sunanda,, she wrote, “The first thing about gratitude is to acknowledge it and second is remember it even in the future. Our parents have done so much for us, the love, the hard work, the sacrifices... We cannot - for a single second - forget how much they’ve done. We live in a different “YUG”, where we lead such fast-paced lives and live in the present forgetting the past... But it’s only human to err. THIS (Lockdown) is a great time to introspect and appreciate how much our parents have done for us in the past. The least we can do NOW is show them love. This TIME is priceless; I was fortunate to have my maternal grandma with me in my formative years and I feel sooo overjoyed to see my son have these moments with my mom. Thank you, Mom... for all and more... always! We are truly lucky and blessed. Only gratitude .” See the post here:

On the other hand, Swara celebrated her 32nd birthday yesterday, but she had the presence of all her friends virtually. Sharing a screenggrab from the video call, Swara wrote, “Had the most unbelievably fun virtual birthday party, with across countries & continents. FOUR HOURS complete with games & performances! U guys r literally THE BEST people ever! I have no words to tell you’ll how lucky I am that you’ll are my friends like family. THANK YOU” Check out the post here:

Well, are you taking some notes on how to stay positive during the lockdown already?
