Shilpa Shetty To Be A Part Of Priyadarshan’s Hungama 2

Shilpa Shetty has been absent from the Bollywood for a while now, but that has not diminished her popularity even one bit. In fact, if anything her popularity has shot up thanks to her appearances on reality shows, social media presence and many other enterprises she is a part of. However, looks like Shilpa has been missing the silver screen as much her fans have been.

After announcing her comeback film Nikamma, it is now being reported that Shilpa will also be a part of Priyadarshan’s Hungama 2. Talking about the same, a source revealed, “Even though it is being touted as a sequel to Hungama, this film is not a continuation of the 2003 hit and has a different storyline. Shilpa will play a glamorous, career-oriented woman who finds herself at the center of a hilarious misunderstanding. Her knack for comedy has remained largely untapped in the films she did earlier. So when this role came her way, she jumped at the idea.”

A remake of the 2003 hit Hungama starring Akshaye Khanna, Paresh Rawal, Rimi Sen, and Aftab Shivdasani, the film is going to bring Priyadarshan to Bollywood after a while. Meezan Jaffrey has already been roped in for playing the main lead in the film.
