Shoot For Varun Dhawan And Sara Ali Khan Starrer Coolie No. 1 Remake To Kickstart In August!

After remaking his own film, Judwaa, with son Varun Dhawan, director David Dhawan will do the same with Govinda’s Coolie No. 1. The news of the remake being on the pipeline had been confirmed long back by the director himself. In fact, later, Sara Ali Khan had also been roped in as Varun Dhawan’s leading lady in the film.

And now, reports are doing the rounds that the shoot of the film will kickstart in August this year! What’s more? The film will be shot in the Thai capital, Bangkok! In fact, director David Dhawan is currently in Bangkok. After this schedule is wrapped up, the film will be shot in Goa.

David Dhawan had earlier remade his film Judwaa, that originally starred Salman Khan and shot it extensively in London to give it a modern touch. A source close to the development of the film has said,

“The idea this time too is the same as filming abroad gives the film a fresh vibe. The basic premise of a coolie caught between two girls remains the same but there are many new changes in the screenplay for it to appeal to today’s audience.”

It is with this film that we will see Varun Dhawan romance Sara Ali Khan. It will be produced by Vashu Bhagnani and the tentative release date is 1^st May, 2020, since the makers feel that releasing it on Labour Day will reap added benefits in the Box Office.
