Shraddha Kapoor And Sushant Singh Rajput Fell Ill After Shooting Breakdown Scenes – Nitesh Tiwari

Sushant Singh Rajput and Shraddha Kapoor’s latest film Chhichhore revolves around college life. The film is being admired by all and sundry and the cash registers are just continuing to ring! The film has proved to be another feather to the cap of director Nitesh Tiwari who had earlier made Dangal and it turned out to be the biggest blockbusters of the country!

It was during a conversation with a leading media portal, the filmmaker spoke at length about the scene which was perhaps the toughest for him to shoot. The director said emotional scenes are the toughest to shoot. The report quotes the director as saying, “Emotional scenes were the most difficult ones to shoot. Especially the breakdown scene, where the characters breakdown because what happened is both Sushant and Shraddha wanted to internalise the grief, they didn't want to use glycerine or anything like that. And they came ready prepared, they didn't talk to the entire unit. And they were just sitting in their own shell preparing for all the breakdown scenes, and they, in fact, ended up internalising the grief so much that both fell ill and yeah, we had to update on that. Then we had to continue to resume our shoot to do the other day. And that is the dedication to the craft they have."

Besides Sushant and Shraddha, the film also features actors Varun Sharma, Prateik Babbar, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Navin Polishetty, Saharsh Kumar, Mohammad Samad in key roles.  The film has been written by Nitesh Tiwari, Piyush Gupta and Nikhil Mehrotra.
