Shruti Modi Tells ED Rhea Chakraborty Was Involved In Professional Decisions Of Sushant, Received Calls On His Behalf

Rhea Chakraborty and her family have come under investigation by the Enforcement Directorate for a case of possible money laundering. The central agency has also questioned Sushant’s former business manager Shruti Modi for several hours and according to reports she has stated that while wasn’t aware of any illegal transactions, Rhea Chakraborty had been crucial in making some various professional calls on the actor’s behalf ever since they began dating.

Shruti is said to have cited instances where Rhea took calls on Sushant’s behalf in business matters in which she also had stakes. She also alleged that the actress took decisions on certain projects related to the late actor. Shruti stated that she wasn’t in regular touch with the actor after February 2020.

Meanwhile, unanswered texts from Sushant’s father to both Rhea and Shruti have gone viral where he tried to reach out to his son through them but got no response. In the texts Sushant’s father expressed concerns about the actor asking how he was doing. In his text to Shruti he said, "I know that you are handling Sushant's finances and have been looking after him too. I want to know how he is doing now. When I spoke to him he said that he was very distressed. You can imagine how worried I am as a father. that is why I wanted to talk to you. Since you do not want to talk, I would like to come to Mumbai. Please send my flight tickets."

It is also been said that the Enforcement Directorate has confiscated phones of Rhea and her family to retrieve data of the past one year for further investigation.
