Siddhant Chaturvedi Sheds Some Kilos To Fit Into The Urbane Character Of Shakun Batra's Film, Says 'I Have To Look Like A Dharma Boy'

Siddhant Chaturvedi would be all over our screens next year. The actor would first be seen in Bunty Aur Bubly 2 and would then share the screen with Deepika Padukone and Ananya Panday in Shakun Batra's next. In the yet-to-be-titled film, he would play an urban boy, and for that, he would be shedding some extra kilos.

In an interview with Mid-Day, he said, "I have to look like a Dharma boy." He revealed, "My character in Bunty Aur Babli 2 is that of a boy-next-door and has a desi flavour. In Shakun's film, I play an urban and contemporary character. I weighed 84 kilos when doing Bunty Aur Babli 2, and had to shed four kilos to fit into the part Shakun envisioned me in."

It is being said that the shoot of the film will kick from next month in Goa and the cast would be flying down to shoot. The film is also scheduled to be shot in Sri Lanka, but it would be confirmed only if the situation gets better. Siddhant would also be seen in an action film and he is planning to get even leaner for that! He will also be seen in Phonebhoot alongside Katrina kaif and Ishaan Khatter. We are just waiting for the boy to take over the screen!
