Sidharth Malhotra Celebrates 7 Years Of Hasee Toh Phasee, Says He Lived His 'Hindi Film Hero' Dreams Shooting For The Project

Actor Sidharth Malhotra took a trip down memory lane as his film Hasee Toh Phasee clocked 7 years since its release. Talking about everything that made the film special to it the actor penned a long note reliving the memories attached to the project and said that movie made him feel like a ‘Hindi film Hero.’

Sidharth who was paired opposite Parineeti Chopra in this Dharma Productions back romantic comedy said that the project was his first as a solo lead and his character ‘Nikhil’ is one of his favorites.

On Twitter the actor wrote, “Hasee Toh Phasee was my 2nd film & my first solo film! A film for which I still receive messages of love and appreciation till today. It has one of my most favourite character ‘Nikhil’, a character where I could find so much humour in his troubles.”

Talking his experience shooting for the filom he added, “It was also my first experience shooting in Mumbai on the outside streets and Locals! While shooting, I was thrilled to see crowd gathering just to see us shoot, but at times we also had to stop shoot cause of crowd.”

Sidharth struck a chord with the audiences with his debut film Student of the Year and fresh after the success of the film Sidharth revealed how he reveled in the feel of being recognized by fans on street while he was filming Hasee Toh Phasee. “The typical feeling of being recognised was very fresh & new and I realised I was living my dream of being a Hindi film Hero! Today I feel blessed As I remember this day, Thank you to the whole team and my co-actors,” he added in his tweet.

The actor is now busy shooting for his upcoming film Mission Majnu in Lucknow where he will be seen opposite South actress Rashmika Mandanna.
