Sidharth Malhotra Drops Hint About A Superhero Project

As much as we love to crush on Sidharth Malhotra, it is true that his career is not going through the best phase. With his last 4 releases, including Baar Baar Dekho, A Gentleman, Ittefaq and Aiyaary have all been duds at the box office. While we are seriously hopeful about his upcoming projects like Jabariya Jodi and the Vikram Batra biopic, but recently, he dropped subtle hints about a project that got us super excited.

In a recent interaction with media, Sidharth revealed his desire to be a part of such projects. He said, “It has always been on my bucket list to build and portray a superhero character from India, like a Captain America or Thor. They have some amazing writing there and I have been hoping to play one soon.”

The most interesting piece of information that Sidharth shared was that he had already come very close to doing something similar in the past. He said, “A while back, something on those lines was being worked out, but to build from scratch requires a lot of writing, thought, and planning, which takes time. Hindu mythology also has some interesting characters and I would love to play one of those too.” Hopefully, something will work out soon cause seeing Sid flying from one building to another in a bodysuit is something we would really like to see.
