    Sidharth Malhotra and Parineeti Chopra will be back on screen together with Jabariya Jodi after their hit collaboration Hasee Toh Phasee in 2014. The duo is busy promoting the film has now been pushed a week further and will be releasing on 9 August. Both Parineeti and Sidharth have seen their fair share of hits and flops in Bollywood since they made their debut but the fact has certainly never slowed down the offers that came their way.

    Opening up about his string of flops including his last release Aiyaary, A Gentleman, Baar Baar Dekho and others the actor told Bombay Times that he can’t be solely blamed for the failure of his films. “Unfortunately, it all becomes about the actor, but there’s a team behind every film. I can’t be solely blamed for a film’s poor collections, and I also can’t be the only reason for a film to work.”

    He actor went on to add that acting is an ‘unpredictable profession’ where one is “simply guessing and learning.” He however emphasized that one has to be consistent as an actor to survive. "This is such an unpredictable profession that with every film, you are simply guessing and learning. Yes, out of so many people who were launched in recent times, we are among the handful of artistes who have been accepted by the audience. After that, it’s a matter of being consistent as an actor. Not every film will work and you will make mistakes. It could be the route you took, the approach you had for a role or the team, or something else. You have to constantly keep a tab on these things — on what worked in your favour and what didn’t."

    Jabariya Jodi is themed around forced marriages and has been directed by Prashant Singh and has now averted its clash with Sonakshi Sinha’s Khandaani Shafakhana. The film will be cashing on The Eid holiday in August.
