In fact, she had quite a long battle with the virus and after the fifth test, she finally tested negative. Now, it was being rumoured that she had been missing from her Lucknow home now. Kanika decided to address the rumours herself and posted a long note.

Taking to social media, she said that she feels these rumours are doing the rounds since she had chosen to remain silent. In fact, she not just broke her silence but penned a very long note. She wrote, “Every person that I have come in contact with be it in UK, Mumbai or Lucknow has shown no symptoms of Covid-19. In fact all those tested have been negative. I had symptoms on March 17 and 18 so I requested to be tested." She also thanked the doctors and medical staff for taking care of her during a ‘very emotionally testing time’ and added that she has been home for the past 21 days. Here is her statement:

Well, that’s the best possible way to shut rumours, isn’t it?
