Sonakshi Sinha Finally Opens Up About The KBC 11 Controversy, Asks Why People Have Been ‘Unforgiving’ For An Honest Mistake

It might be more than six months ago that Sonakshi Sinha had made a blunder when she was asked a question based on Ramayana in KBC 11. She had goofed up, but people were quick to troll her. Sonakshi shut the trolls up and the matter was forgotten. However, it was brought back to the limelight when actor Mukesh Khanna brought it up again in one of his interviews. The trolls started again and Sonakshi’s father, Shatrughan Sinha had to jump in to defend his daughter. Now, Sonakshi has decided to talk about it at length.

Talking to Sri Sri Ravi Shankar in his Heart To Heart series, the actress opened up about how she had felt during this incident. Talking about how difficult it gets at times to not pay heed to criticisms, Sonakshi said, “I went on KBC with Ruma devi who is an artisan. We got a question on Ramayan "Sanjeevani Bhooti ko Hanuman ji kisjke liye lekhar gaya tha?"We both blanked out and were just not able to answer it. And after that, the incident was not so bad in itself but it was embarrassing because it is something we've have learned as kids. It's been a while so certain details just go out of my mind. It's been 5-6 months since that, but the kind of negativity and trolling I get for that one mistake I made is disheartening, as in why are people so unforgiving. It was an honest mistake… My takeaway from Ramayan was how Ram was teaching how to be a better human being, father, husband and without taking that learning, people attack me and it is sad.”

She had been advised to not pay heed to any of the criticisms and trolls since the hate comments only show the mindset of those who pass them on. We hope Sonakshi would come back from it stronger, like she always has!
