Sonakshi Sinha Reveals How She Celebrated Her 33rd Birthday Amid The Nationwide Lockdown

One of the most gorgeous, talented and adored actresses of the Hindi film industry, Sonakshi Sinha celebrated her 33^rd birthday on 2^nd June amid the nationwide coronavirus lockdown. While her fans and followers showered social media with sweet birthday wishes, loving messages and blessings, her best friends connected with her for a virtual celebration via video call, because that’s the best they could do while practicing social distancing. Sonakshi spent the day with her family and gorged on all her favorite dishes that her mother Poonam made for her.

Three years ago on her 30^th birthday, Sonakshi started a tradition of sorts wherein she would fly out of town for her birthdays. Sadly this year her plans were disrupted, but she is all set to get back out there as soon as things get better. Nevertheless, the beauty was glad that she spent her special day with her loved ones. In a chat with Mumbai Mirror, Sonakshi shared, “I had never imagined a birthday in lockdown, but I didn't mind it too much. I have always believed in small celebrations with only a few of my loved ones around. This one was with my family and I am more than happy about it.”

Meanwhile on the work front, Sonakshi was last seen on the big screen in Dabangg 3 opposite Salman Khan. She won our hearts once again as Rajjo Pandey and her chemistry with the superstar was fantastic. Her next project is war drama Bhuj: The Pride of India, co-starring Ajay Devgn, Sanjay Dutt and Parineeti Chopra.
