On 25th March, gunmen stormed a gurdwara in the heart of Kabul’s old city and went on a rampage killing around 25 people and injuring at least 15 others. Reports suggest that there were 4 terrorists, including one suicide bomber and the attack began at 7:45 am. They apparently targeted a ‘dharamshala’ in Shor Bazar area of Kabul, which reportedly has a sizeable population of Hindu and Sikh minorities. India has strongly condemned the attack and has said it will extend all possible assistance to the affected families.
