Sonam Kapoor Reveals She Met Anand Ahuja During Prem Ratan Dhan Payo Promotions; Talks About Sujoy Ghosh’s Next

One of the most adored, talented and fashionable actresses of Bollywood, the gorgeous Sonam Kapoor Ahuja recently flew back home with husband Anand Ahuja amid the coronavirus pandemic. The beauty, who was last seen on the big screen in The Zoya Factor opposite Dulquer Salmaan, will soon start working on her next, which is reported to be a thriller directed by ace filmmaker Sujoy Ghosh.

In a recent chat with Pinkvilla, Sonam opened up about the project for the very first time and revealed that the film will be shot in London. She also shared, “It is happening in June, I am excited to work on it, hopefully, I can meet Sujoy, the director or do readings on Facetime.” The film has been titled ‘Blind’ and buzz suggests that Sonam will share the screen with Chhapaak star Vikrant Massey for the first time.

While we are always eagerly waiting to know about her upcoming films, fans are equally interested in Sonam’s happily married life. Well, much to our delight, the actress revealed how she met hubby Anand for the first time during her chat with the same portal. She shared, “I met him (Anand) when I was promoting Prem Ratan Dhan Payo and my friend was trying to set me up with his best friend, and instead I spoke to him the whole evening and he added me on Facebook after that evening and then he started talking and that’s how we met.”

Wow! Who would have thought that Sonam and Anand’s fairy-tale began with a Salman Khan connection.
