Soni Razdan Shares Health Update On Alia Bhatt, Says She Tries Not To Call Her Too Often: It Will Stress Her Out

Alia Bhatt is under home quarantine after testing positive for Covid-19. The news has certainly been concerning for her friends, fans and family. The actress in her post informing everyone that she tested positive had assured that she’s doing fine and her mother Soni Razdaan has now relayed the same in a recent interview talking about Alia’s health.

Soni Razdaan tells Times Of India that she tries not to burden her daughter with too many calls but has been taking updates on her health each morning. “I am in touch with her, it’s just that I try not to call her too many times. In the last few days, I have called her in the morning to check on her. I don’t want to burden her with constant calls, because if I keep doing that, it will stress her out. I sent her messages suggesting what she should eat, which is simple and light food. So, she is sorted now as far as her food is concerned,” Soni told the publication.

“I have tested positive for COVID-19. I have immediately isolated myself and will be under home quarantine. I am following all safety protocols under the advice of my doctors (sic),” Alia had written on social media on Friday.

The actress had resumed work last year and has been juggling multiple projects since including wrapping up shoots for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Gangubai Kathiawadi, S.S. Rajamouli’s RRR and completing the remaining portions of Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra.
