Sonu Sood Feels His Parents Passed Away At The Right Time, Says He'd Be Broken If He Couldn't Find Them A Bed Or Oxygen

Sonu Sood has thousands of people reaching out to him daily to seek assistance during the ongoing Covid-19 crisis. The actor who has in the past year become a savior for many has been helping patients find beds in hospitals, getting them live saving medicines and oxygen cylinders during the second wave of the pandemic which has adversely affected the nation.

In a recent interview, Sonu while speaking about his humanitarian efforts said that he is glad his parents are not here to be affected by the pandemic as it would have broken him if he couldn’t help them if they ever needed a bed in a hospital or oxygen.

"Maine kabhi bola nhi aj tak, but mujhe lagta hai ki shayad mere maa, baap nhi rahe, toh thik samay pe chale gaye. Agar mujhe uss daur se guzarna padta ki main unhe ek bed nhi dila pata, ya oxygen nhi dila pata, toh shayad bhoth tut jata. Main har roz logo ko tute dekha hai, rote hue dekha hai. Isse kharab daur kabhi nhi aya hai, na ayega,” he told Times Now.

Sonu had lost his father in 2016 after he suffered a cardiac arrest while his mother died several years ago in 2007.

Sonu has become the messiah for the distressed families during this time. The actor is currently working on setting up oxygen plants across various states to meet the shortage in hospitals.
