Sonu Sood Plays Nagraj With Green Laser Eyes, Shooting Snakes Off His Wrists In This Old Commercial; Have You Seen It?

Sonu Sood has become real-life hero for the migrant workers he helping to get home during these trying times of the coronavirus pandemic and the subsequent lockdown. While the actor gained popularity for playing the villain in several films not many might know that the actor had once started as the Indian superhero Nagraj in a commercial for the popular comic book series.

In the commercial going as far back as 1997 Sonu Sood can be seen in the all green superhero costume with pink briefs over it, fighting villains. Beaming green laser-like light from his eyes, doing acrobatic stunts, and shooting deadly snakes at the villains from his wrist, the ad looks almost comical today.

The ad was for Raj comics which owned the superhero character and was a big rage with youngsters during the time. Sonu made his debut in films almost two years after this ad in the Tamil film Kallazhagar and has now completed over two decades in the film business.

As the covid-19 crisis brought the country to a halt nearly two months ago, Sonu has been working relentlessly to ensure that he does his bit of service for the people to help them get through the difficult times. Sonu turned his hotel in Mumbai an isolation ward for affected patients and has been arranging buses for the safe travels of migrant workers becoming a real life superhero.
