Sonu Sood Says No To VIllainous Roles After Playing Real Life Messiah To The Underprivileged During The Covid-19 Pandemic

Sonu Sood's goodwill and humanitarian efforts during the Covid-19 pandemic now seem to have started having a ripple effect on his career as an actor. Popular for playing the villain in some of the biggest films in recent times, Sonu has decided to distance himself from negative roles. In fact, the makers of his upcoming Telugu film Alludu Adhurs, which is presently in works, have gone ahead and modified the entire project to make Sonu shine.

According to a Spotboye report, Sonu’s messiah image in the eyes of the people made the makers turn his negative role into something that would be more fitting to his post-Covid-19 public persona. A source tells the portal that several scenes of the actor have been re-written, two songs have been added and full action sequence which wasn’t even in the narrative has been added for the actor. The producer and filmmaker wish not to disappoint audiences by showing Sonu in a bad light.

When asked, Sonu talked about the changes in his career, “Lots of changes have happened in my life in the last one year and all positive. As far as my career as an actor is concerned, no more villain’s roles. I will only be doing positive roles now and only author-backed roles. I’m being offered many good roles. I need to work out the time frame to do at least a couple of films a year.”
