Sonu Sood Tests Negative A Week After Contracting Covid-19

Sonu Sood who emerged as a national champion for the migrant workers and the less fortunate during the pandemic had contracted the novel coronavirus last week. The actor has now tested negative for Covid-19 a week after staying in home quarantine recuperating.

The Dabangg star shared a picture of himself sharing the good news with fans on social media. His diagnosis had become a cause of concern after the actor last Friday informed his well wishers about having tested positive.

He had written: "Hi everyone this is to inform you that I have tested positive this morning for COVID-19. As a part of precautions, I have already quarantined myself and taking utmost care but don't worry this gives me ample time to solve your problems remember I am always there for you all.”

True to his words, even while fighting the deadly virus, Sonu remained active on social media replying to fans and helping those in need as he has been since the past one year since the nationwide lockdown due to the pandemic.

Sonu had already been administered the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine earlier in April.

The actor’s quick recovery certainly has his fans and well wishers breathing easy.
