Sooraj Barjatya Reveals All About His Upcoming Film With Salman Khan

Sooraj Barjatya and Salman Khan are always known to be this HIT combo! Right from their very first film together Maine Pyaar Kiya, they were an instant favourite of the audiences. Leave everything else out but the way Sooraj portrays Salman Khan on screen is wonderful! It just goes to show the level of understanding and friendship they have.

And now during an interview with a media portal, the filmmaker recently opened up about his upcoming projects and it also includes one with actor Salman Khan! Shedding more light on the project, the director said, this is one of his dream projects. He further said that the film will be influenced by the 54 years of his life and the 32 years of his married life.

Spilling the beans a little more, he said, “I have been sitting over the concept for about four to five years now. He stated that he was actually hoping to ask some other director to direct it. However, then one day I thought to myself that instead of getting someone else on board, I should direct it myself."

Well, the director had earlier spoken about the film as well, he said the film is a family drama but not a joint family. It is about a husband and a wife and that he has already discussed the idea with Salman.

The Sooraj Salman Jodi had always worked magic on the silver screen right from Maine Pyaar Kiya to Hum Aapke Hain Koun to Hum Saath Saath Hain. Having said that, the last film they did together Prem Ratan Dhan Paayo with Sonam as the lead actress was a huge dud at the box office. We hope their next outing together pleases the audiences like their films of yore used to!
