Sooraj Pancholi’s Mother Zarina Wahab Feels He’s Being Used As A Punching Bag; Hopes CBI Gets Involved With Sushant’s Case

Sushant Singh Rajput and his former manager Disha Salian’s untimely demise have become two of the biggest mysteries of the Hindi film industry. While an investigation about the same is underway, many rumors have been doing the rounds about different conspiracies in the case. One such rumor connected actor Sooraj Pancholi to the suicide case. A while ago, fake photos of Disha and Sooraj went viral on social media and conspiracy theories suggested that they were allegedly having an affair. However, Sooraj slammed these reports and made it clear that he had never even met Disha.

In a recent chat with Bollywood Hungama, Sooraj’s mother and veteran actor Zarina Wahab opened up about these reports and stated, “I want to laugh it off as well as feel bad. People have so much free time during the lockdown, that they say anything about anyone. They are connecting past events, whereas he(Sooraj Pancholi) has never met that girl (Disha Salian). He keeps saying that he has not met her ever and still people do not believe. They know that he has no hand in this, but people have started using him like a punching bag. It is not fair. You sit at home and comment on anything about anyone and there are 10 other people reading it. Those reading it are innocent, they think what they are reading is right. The truth will definitely come out and whoever is guilty should be 100% punished.”

She further spoke about big Bollywood celebrities being dragged into the case and said that people are jobless. Zarina ji explained that if they talk about small people no one will pay attention, so they bring in names such as Salman Khan and Karan Johar which is not fair. The actress feels that these celebs have created a reputation for themselves with years of hard work and it is unfair to talk about them or the industry in this way. Zarina ji added that the film industry is a very nice, beautiful place and she feels bad when people say such things about it.

When asked how the actress is dealing with all these rumors as a mother, Zarina ji concluded, “I know he is innocent. In order to hide their guilt people are targeting others. Now, whatever madam ji(Jiah Khan's mother) is talking is contempt of court. It is not good for her. The earlier case involving my son is in the court. CBI is done investigating the case. I hope the CBI gets involved with Suahsnat's case at the earliest so that the innocent people will not be targeted.”
