Sridevi’s Younger Daughter Khushi To Make Acting Debut Soon; Father Boney Reveals Why He Won’t Launch Her

The Kapoor Khaandaan is undoubtedly one of the most popular families of the Hindi film industry. One well-known branch of that family consists of filmmaker Boney Kapoor, his late wife and superstar Sridevi, actress daughter Janhvi, actor son Arjun, the very talented Anshula and the youngest Khushi. Well it was recently revealed that Boney ji will be making his full fledged acting debut with Luv Ranjan’s next film, in which he will play Ranbir Kapoor’s father. Well, he has now revealed that his daughter Khushi will also follow in his footsteps soon.

In a chat with BT, Boney revealed, “Yes, Khushi is also keen on acting. You will hear an announcement soon.” However, he won’t be launching her himself. The filmmaker explained, “I have the resources, but I would rather have someone else launch her because I am her father and one tends to get indulgent. You can’t afford to do that as a filmmaker and nor is it good for the actor. Anil (brother Anil Kapoor) was still an established actor, so it didn’t affect him much, but I think I became an indulgent brother with Sanjay (Sanjay Kapoor) when he made his entry into films.”

Boney ji stated that he thinks launching Sanjay went against him. However, the actor is now doing amazing work in the digital medium and has been portraying some very interesting characters wonderfully. Boney hopes that Khushi also finds her own footing. He added, “She will be launched by someone I respect and someone I feel secure and safe about.”
