Suchitra Krishnamoorthy Says ‘Our Culture Of Misogyny Needs Reset’, Is Aghast That Only Women Are Shamed By NCB

Sushant Singh Rajput case is going down alleys which is not just shocking but is unexpected as well. In the light of the drug angle that has come to the fore in the death case of the actor, the Narcotics Control Bureau is not leaving any stones unturned to investigate the matter.

It was a few days ago that some big names of Bollywood were outed in the drug racket which included Rakul Preet Singh, Deepika Padukone, Sara Ali Khan, and Shraddha Kapoor. Following that revelation, the actresses were summoned by the NCB officials for interrogation. However, actress Suchitra Krishnamoorthy is peeved at the fact that only women were summoned and the men were not. She took to her official Twitter handle to express shock. She berated the ‘entire culture of misogyny’ which according to her needed a ‘reset’.

She wrote, “From normalizing women being addressed as "#kyamaalhai in the movies, to fuming over a woman asking #MaalHaiKya in real life, our entire culture of misogyny needs a reset. Im still aghast that no men were named & called for #ncbprobe - only the women shamed.”
