Sugandha Mishra Is Excited About Being A Maharashtrian Baiko; Reveals What She Cooked As Part Of Post-Wedding Rituals

Almost two weeks after announcing their engagement on social media with breathtaking pre-wedding photos, comedians and co-stars Sugandha Mishra and Sanket Bhosale tied the nuptial knot in a grand wedding in Jalandhar, Punjab. While the bride looked enchanting in a pink and off-white lehenga, the groom donned a turquoise sherwani. They looked absolutely adorable together and their beautiful photographs left fans in awe. Sanket also shared a video post their wedding in which he referred to Sugandha as Mrs Bhosale.

In a chat with ETimes after their shaadi, Sugandha opened up about post wedding rituals and shared, “I am understanding and inculcating the traditional Maharashtrian ways. I am excited about being a Maharashtrian baiko.” Meanwhile, Sanket is doing everything he can to be an incredibly loving husband. He was quoted saying, “I am adapting to the new role of being a doting and responsible husband. I have promised Sugandha to be the best version of it.”

Sugandha also revealed that she made panjiri for her in-laws as a part of the post-wedding rituals. She explained, “It’s a traditional Punjabi sweet dish, which we make during a puja. It’s served as prasad. I am glad that everyone liked it. Eventually, I prepared a Maharashtrian sweet dish as well. It was a great mix of Punjabi and Maharashtrian dishes on the table.”

We wish the two a lifetime of happiness and togetherness!
