Suniel Shetty On Hera Pheri 3: 'Babu Bhai, Shyam, Raju Can Have A Problem Anytime Of Their Life'

Priyadarshan’s Hera Pheri featuring the very talented Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, Paresh Rawal and Tabu, is regarded as one of the best comedy films ever made. It is a cult classic and can easily be watched over and over again. The film follows the lives of 3 quirky characters named Raju, Shyam and Babu Bhaiya who are in desperate need of money but are trying to make ends meet with big smiles on their faces. Things change when they get a strange phone call and hear the words ‘Kabeera Speaking’. The film clocked 20 years on 31^st March 2020.

Hera Pheri was followed by a sequel titled Phir Hera Pheri in 2006 and ever since then, fans have eagerly been waiting for the third installment of the masterpiece. Talking about the same to ET, Suniel Shetty expressed his excitement and shared, “Of course! Absolutely! Because Babu Bhai, Shyam, Raju can have a problem anytime of their life whatever age it may be. The thing is I think we understand cinema more, probably better actors even today and also we are very good friends you know. We have a lot of respect for each other and so I think it works like magic and I am looking forward to it. It will happen and whenever it does I know it will happen.”

Interestingly, before Hera Pheri Akshay was known only as an action star. However, with this film Akshay, Suniel and Paresh got a chance to flaunt their impeccable comic timing like never before. Well just like fans, we too are waiting for an official announcement for Hera Pheri 3!
