Suniel Shetty Has Already Decided The Cast Of Dhadkan 2 And It Has Akshay Kumar-Shilpa Shetty Connection, Read On

Dharmesh Darshan’s 2000 directorial Dhadkan was a true masterpiece. Featuring Suniel Shetty, Akshay Kumar and Shilpa Shetty in the lead, the romantic drama followed the story of a girl who leaves her boyfriend and marries another man chosen by her father. She eventually falls in love with him and a few years later bumps into her ex-boyfriend who is now a successful businessman and wants to get back with her. The actors were praised for their spectacular performances and Dhadkan became the 4th highest-grossing Bollywood film of the year.

In a recent chat with Bombay Times, Suniel shared his ideas about how a sequel of the film can be made. He said, “Hopefully, Dharmesh Darshan and Venus will produce ‘Dhadkan2’ with my son Ahan Shetty and Akshay Kumar’s son and now also with Shilpa Shetty’s daughter (laughs). In the sequel, Ahan will get the heroine as in ‘Dhadkan’, Shilpa left me for Akshay. However her daughter is very cute and too small now.”

The actor also opened up about the third installment of comedy series Hera Pheri with Akshay and Paresh Rawal. He shared that they were planning on making the film but considering the current situation of the film industry amid the coronavirus outbreak, the priority will be completing films which are already stuck. He stated, “We need to let go and adjust other films.”
