Sunil Dutt Wrote This Letter To Paresh Rawal On The Day Of His Demise

Sanju is already a box-office blockbuster in less than 10 days of its release. The Ranbir Kapoor film has crossed the 200 crore mark and is inching close to 300 crores with each passing day. But what made the film more special apart from giving us the other side of the Sanjay Dutt story was the father-son bond that the film portrayed between Sanju and Sunil Dutt. Paresh Rawal who plays Sanjay’s father in the film had an interesting fate linked to the real-life Sunil Dutt himself.

On the day of his demise, Sunil Dutt who then the member of the Lok Sabha had written a letter to Paresh Rawal on the occasion of his upcoming birthday. Sunil Dutt passed away due to a heart attack on 25^th May 2005 and Paresh Rawal celebrates his birthday on 30^th May. The letter is dated 25^th May and perhaps was a big sign that their fates are linked in mysterious ways and Sanju proved it.

Sanju released in theatres on 29th June.
