Sunny Kaushal and Radhika Madan’s much anticipated romantic drama Shiddat has finally arrived on Disney+ Hotstar today. Most fans have loved the film and have been showering social media with their reviews. Sunny’s intense performance has especially been lauded, whereas his chemistry with Radhika has left fans in awe. Well, the making of the film was a journey in itself. Looking back at it, Sunny took to his official handle to share the story of his first day at readings. He ended up at the location with his shoes in his hands, after battling floods!

Sunny shared, “I still remember this day as clear as a star spangled night! The first day of shiddat readings. I don’t think it was a coincidence that I had to battle heavy rains and a flooded city to get to @kunaldeshmukh1 and @sonali_rattan. I remember KD saying that it’s okay, we’ll do this tomorrow. No need to come all the way, you might get stuck and I said “ No Kd! It’s the first day and I don’t want to miss it!” and this is how I entered the @maddockfilms office. I think that’s the first time I kind of understood what Jaggi might be feeling. #Shiddat isn’t just a love story for me. It is a story about HOPE, about giving your all to that one thing you believe in.”

He went on to add, “About having COURAGE to see it through without worrying about the consequences. So thank you KD, Dinoo and Sonali for being there and giving me Jaggi, a character that I will forever keep close to me and learn from. All of us @radhikamadan @merainna @dianapenty and the entire team have made this with a lot of love and now the film is out there and with all of you and I am so so so grateful for that!! In the end all I want to say is… “Who are we, if not LOVE”.”
