Sunny Leone Reveals Why She Was Nervous About Returning To India Post COVID-19 Lockdown

Back in March last year, our country went under a nationwide lockdown due to the spread of novel coronavirus. A few months later in May, actress Sunny Leone and her husband Daniel Weber announced that they had travelled from India to Los Angeles amid the lockdown, along with their three kids Nisha, Noah and Asher. While they had initially refused the US Government’s offer to fly them back twice, they finally said yes the third time. Well, Sunny returned to Mumbai with her family in November last year to resume work.

In a recent chat with TOI, the beauty revealed that she was extremely anxious when they returned to India. Sunny explained, “Both Daniel and I are here with our kids. We have come here in times of the pandemic and that made me nervous. In fact, when we first landed up here we had severe anxiety. Of course, because apart from us, we had to take care of the hygiene and safety of our three kids.”

Sunny went on to add that she feels much better now but back when they landed she was extremely cautious. Even when she saw paparazzi, she made sure that they all had their masks on. Talking about how she takes care of things at her residence, the actress shared, “At home, we have our own rules to maintain precautions. In fact I have got a machine which is not just an air purifier, but something more advanced than that for our safety. I am just being very particular.”

Well, better to be safe than sorry!
