Sunny Singh To Play Lakshman To Prabhas' Ram In Om Raut's Adipurush? Read On ...

Adipurush starring Prabhas is already big in the news with just a few initial announcements. The movie which is touted to be filmmaker Om Raut’s magnum opus is an adaptation of the Ramayan and will see Prabhas in the role of Lord Ram while Saif Ali Khan has been roped in to play Lankesh.

With just these two key roles confirmed, the makers are working on locking the other key characters and Ramayan, as we know, has lots of them. Buzz is that Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety star Sunny Singh is in talks to get onboard for the project to play Lakshman.

While nothing is confirmed yet it would certainly be another feather in Sunny’s hat if he bags the project playing Prabhas’s on-screen brother.

Apart from this the there have been several rumours about who the leading lady in the project would be. Several reports have claimed that Deepika Padukone who has also signed Nag Ashwin’s next opposite Prabhas could also be the leading lady in Adipurush.

Om Raut and Prabhas recently announced the film’s release date to be 11 August, 2022. Adipurush will go on floors in January 2021 and will be shot in Hindi and Telugu but will also be dubbed in Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and several other foreign languages.
