The director was named in the #MeToo movement last year with accusations of sexual harassment that caused a lot of controversies and even resulted in putting a full stop to his association with Super 30. In an interview with BollywoodLife Nadish revealed why even after getting a clean chit is Vikas Bahl absent from the promotions of Super 30. "I believe he (Vikas) wouldn't have a problem talking about the film. But the problem is a lot of people (media) don't limit themselves to talking about the film." Explaining further he added, "Right now is the time, when the film matters and if you stick to that I don't think he will have any problem talking about it. It is just that everybody goes in all directions and that becomes a problem then you lose the focus which is the film right now. It is not required right now. Everyone has been waiting for the film."

The film has been named in several controversies since it was announced right from Anand Kumar, who the film is based on being called a fraud to Vikas Bahl's named being removed from the credits. Nadnish, however, maintained that none of the controversies caused any distractions on the sets. "We didn't care about anything. We were worried about our work. We just cared about that. All these things are a distraction and nobody was affected by these things. We had blinkers on and we were thinking about the film."

Super 30 also stars Pankaj Tripathi and Amit Sadh and will release in theatres on July 12.
